Kentucky High School Basketball - St. Mary overwhelms Community Christian
February 2, 2024: Paducah, KY 42003 Fans at Friday's league challenge between the St. Mary Vikings (Paducah, KY) and the visiting Community Christian Warriors (Paducah, KY), saw St. Mary's basketball squad wallop Community Christian by a tally of 66-43.
With the victory, St. Mary improves its record to 15-9 on the campaign. The Vikings host Union County (Morganfield, KY) to confront the Braves in a non-league challenge on Saturday, February 3. The Braves come into the challenge with a record of 10-10. Union County won 54-51 in their recent league challenge against Webster County (Dixon, KY)
Next up, the Warriors confront the Carlisle County Comets (Bardwell, KY) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, February 3. Community Christian will attempt to improve on its 6-15 season record. The Comets come into the challenge with a 16-7 record after their 62-54 non-league loss to Ballard Memorial (Barlow, KY).
