Evanston Wildkits (Evanston, IL) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host New Trier Trevians (Winnetka, IL), 37-35 in a league bout.

With the win, Evanston upgrades its record to 19-9 on the season. The Wildkits travel to Glenbrook South (Glenview, IL) to confront the Titans in a Central Suburban - South challenge on Friday, February 9. The Titans come into the challenge with a record of 20-6.

Next up, the Trevians confront the Glenbrook South Titans (Glenview, IL) in a Central Suburban - South challenge, on Tuesday, February 6. New Trier will attempt to improve on its 22-6 season record. The Titans come into the challenge with a 20-6 record after their 54-52 non-league loss to Rockford Auburn (Rockford, IL).
