Fair Haven Slaters (Fair Haven, VT) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the host Mt. St. Joseph Academy Green Wave (Rutland, VT), 85-41 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Fair Haven upgrades its record to 9-7 on the campaign. The Slaters host Hartford (White River Junction, VT) to play the Hurricanes in a Southern Vermont - B bout on Tuesday, February 6. The Hurricanes come into the bout with a record of 15-1. Hartford won 68-16 in their recent league bout against Windsor (Windsor, VT)
