The False River Gators basketball team (New Roads, LA), was overwhelmed 75-51 in Friday's league battle with the visiting Opelousas Catholic Vikings (Opelousas, LA)

The Vikings now possess a 12-13 record. They put it on the line next when they host Westminster Academy for a 1A District 6 battle on Tuesday, February 6. Opelousas Catholic will battle a Crusaders team coming off a 78-41 league win over St. Edmund (Eunice, LA). The Crusaders record now stands at 12-12.
