New Mexico High School Basketball - Portales fells Goddard
February 2, 2024: Roswell, NM 88201 Portales Rams (Portales, NM) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Goddard Rockets (Roswell, NM), 54-46 in a league game.
In their next game, the Rams face the Artesia Bulldogs (Artesia, NM) in a 4A District 4 game, on Tuesday, February 6. Portales will attempt to move on its 14-7 season record. The Bulldogs enter the game with a 11-8 record after their 60-47 league win over Lovington (Lovington, NM).
With the defeat, Goddard moves to 3-16 on the year. The Rockets travel to Lovington (Lovington, NM) to face the Wildcats in a 4A District 4 game on Tuesday, February 6. The Wildcats enter the game with a record of 12-9. Lovington lost 60-47 in their recent league game against Artesia (Artesia, NM)
