Southwest Christian Academy Lions (Little Rock, AR) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the host Gospel Light Christian Lions (Hot Springs, AR), 55-34 in a league bout.

With the victory, Southwest Christian Academy upgrades its record to 10-5 on the campaign.

Next up, the Lions play the Christian Ministries Academy Conquerors (Hot Springs, AR) in a Heartland Christian bout, on Tuesday, February 6. Gospel Light Christian will attempt to upgrade on its 5-18 season record. The Conquerors come into the bout with a 18-3 record after their 76-45 league win over Abundant Life (North Little Rock, AR).
