Oregon High School Basketball - Illinois Valley trounces Toledo
February 2, 2024: Cave Junction, OR 97523 The Illinois Valley Cougars (Cave Junction, OR) basketball crushed the visiting Toledo Boomers (Toledo, OR), 82-41 in Friday's league test.
The Cougars (15-6) will now prepare for their test against Reedsport (Reedsport, OR). The go into the 2A Valley Coast test with a 5-15 record. In their last test, Reedsport was trounced by East Linn Christian Academy (Lebanon, OR), 60-37, in a league test.
The Boomers now own a 1-19 record. They play next when they host Central Linn for a 2A Valley Coast test on Tuesday, February 6. Toledo will encounter a Cobras squad coming off a 47-32 league loss to Oakland (Oakland, OR). The Cobras record now stands at 10-11.
