February 2, 2024: Silsbee, TX 77656 Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Silsbee Tigers (Silsbee, TX) and the visiting Jasper Bulldogs (Jasper, TX), saw Silsbee's basketball squad wallop Jasper by a tally of 130-66.
With the victory, Silsbee improves its record to 21-9 on the campaign. The Tigers travel to West Orange-Stark (Orange, TX) to confront the Mustangs in a 4A Region III District 19 challenge on Tuesday, February 6. The Mustangs come into the challenge with a record of 15-9. West Orange-Stark won 51-49 in their recent league challenge against Jasper (Jasper, TX)
Next up, the Bulldogs confront the Little Cypress-Mauriceville Bears (Orange, TX) in a 4A Region III District 19 challenge, on Tuesday, February 6. Jasper will attempt to improve on its 5-15 season record. The Bears come into the challenge with a 9-18 record after their 45-33 league loss to Lumberton (Lumberton, TX).
