The Marlington Dukes topped the visiting Salem Quakers basketball team by a final score of 60-45 in Friday's league game.

In their next game, the Dukes face the East Dragons (Akron, OH) in a non-league game, on Tuesday, February 6. Marlington will attempt to move on its 8-9 season record. The Dragons enter the game with a 4-13 record after their 77-73 league loss to Firestone (Akron, OH).

With the defeat, Salem moves to 4-12 on the year. The Quakers host Poland Seminary (Poland, OH) to face the Bulldogs in a non-league game on Saturday, February 3. The Bulldogs enter the game with a record of 12-4. Poland Seminary lost 41-35 in their recent league game against South Range (Canfield, OH)
