New Mexico High School Basketball - Cibola ripped by Cleveland
February 2, 2024: Rio Rancho, NM 87144 The Cleveland Storm basketball squad scored 47 points and restricted the visiting Cibola Cougars to 15 in the Storm non-league victory on Friday.
With the victory, Cleveland upgrades its record to 8-2 on the campaign. The Storm host Hope Christian (Albuquerque, NM) to play the Huskies in a non-league bout on Saturday, February 3. The Huskies come into the bout with a record of 13-1. Hope Christian won 58-25 in their recent non-league bout against Pojoaque Valley (Pojoaque, NM)
Next up, the Cougars play the Atrisco Heritage Academy Jaguars (Albuquerque, NM) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, February 8. Cibola will attempt to upgrade on its 4-10 season record. The Jaguars come into the bout with a 10-7 record after their 53-49 non-league loss to Volcano Vista (Albuquerque, NM).
