Colorado High School Basketball - Discovery Canyon ripped by Air Academy

February 2, 2024: US Air Force Academy, CO 80840

In Friday's league match, the host Air Academy Kadets basketball team scored a decisive 81-28 triumph over the Discovery Canyon Thunder.

In their next game, the Kadets meet the Mountain Vista Golden Eagles (Highlands Ranch, CO) in a non-league match, on Saturday, February 3. Air Academy will attempt to move on its 17-1 season record. The Golden Eagles enter the match with a 6-11 record after their 86-69 league loss to Rock Canyon (Highlands Ranch, CO).

With the defeat, Discovery Canyon moves to 7-12 on the year. The Thunder host Lutheran (Parker, CO) to meet the Lions in a 5A/4A Pikes Peak match on Tuesday, February 6. The Lions enter the match with a record of 12-8. Lutheran won 41-12 in their recent league match against Palmer Ridge (Monument, CO)
