Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Alta Hawks (Sandy, UT) and the visiting Highland Rams (Salt Lake City, UT), saw Alta's basketball squad knock off Highland by a tally of 43-35.

With the victory, Alta improves its record to 17-2 on the campaign. The Hawks travel to West (Salt Lake City, UT) to play the Panthers in a 5A Region 6 test on Tuesday, February 6. The Panthers go into the test with a record of 11-6. West lost 60-52 in their recent league test against Brighton (Salt Lake City, UT)

The Rams now own a 0-15 record. They play next when they travel to East for a 5A Region 6 test on Tuesday, February 6. Highland will encounter a Leopards squad coming off a 56-50 league loss to Skyline (Salt Lake City, UT). The Leopards record now stands at 5-14.
