The Newton Rams (Covington, GA) basketball knocked off the visiting Archer Tigers (Lawrenceville, GA), 55-43 in Friday's league test.

The Rams (14-9) will now prepare for their test against Parkview (Lilburn, GA). The Panthers go into the AAAAAAA Region 4 test with a 11-13 record. In their last test, Parkview went down by Grayson (Loganville, GA), 83-36, in a league test.
