February 2, 2024: Hagerstown, MD 21740 Fans at Friday's league challenge between the GVCS Broadfording Lions (Hagerstown, MD) and the visiting Calvary Christian Academy (Cresaptown, MD), saw GVCS Broadfording's basketball squad wallop Calvary Christian Academy by a tally of 46-25.
With the victory, GVCS Broadfording improves its record to 17-7 on the campaign. The Lions travel to Mercersburg Academy (Mercersburg, PA) to play the Blue Storm in a non-league challenge on Saturday, February 3. The Blue Storm come into the challenge with a record of 12-6. Mercersburg Academy won 58-56 in their recent league challenge against Hun (Princeton, NJ)
Next up, the play the Cumberland Valley Christian Blazers (Chambersburg, PA) in a Mason-Dixon Christian challenge, on Tuesday, February 6. Calvary Christian Academy will attempt to improve on its 1-8 season record.
