New Jersey High School Basketball - Calvary Christian nips New Brunswick
February 2, 2024: Old Bridge, NJ 08857 Calvary Christian Lions (Old Bridge, NJ) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the visiting New Brunswick Zebra (New Brunswick, NJ), 37-30 in a non-league bout.
With the victory, Calvary Christian upgrades its record to 4-10 on the campaign. The Lions travel to Somerset Tech (Bridgewater, NJ) to play the Jaguars in a non-league bout on Monday, February 5. The Jaguars come into the bout with a record of 1-13. Somerset Tech lost 77-23 in their recent non-league bout against Spotswood (Spotswood, NJ)
Next up, the Zebra play the Highland Park Owls (Highland Park, NJ) in a non-league bout, on Monday, February 5. New Brunswick will attempt to upgrade on its 2-13 season record. The Owls come into the bout with a 9-9 record after their 37-31 non-league win over Calvary Christian (Old Bridge, NJ).
