Model Blue Devils (Rome, GA) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Gordon Central Warriors (Calhoun, GA), 76-36 in a league bout.

With the win, Model upgrades its record to 20-4 on the season. The Blue Devils host Rockmart (Rockmart, GA) to clash with the Yellowjackets in a AA Region 7 bout on Tuesday, February 6. The Yellowjackets go into the bout with a record of 16-7. Rockmart won 49-41 in their recent league bout against North Murray (Chatsworth, GA)
