West Virginia High School Basketball - Logan nips Greenbrier East
February 2, 2024: Logan, WV 25601 Logan Wildcats (Logan, WV) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the visiting Greenbrier East Spartans (Lewisburg, WV), 58-52 in a non-league bout.
With the victory, Logan upgrades its record to 9-8 on the campaign. The Wildcats travel to North Marion (Farmington, WV) to play the Huskies in a non-league bout on Saturday, February 3. The Huskies come into the bout with a record of 10-6. North Marion won 83-48 in their recent non-league bout against Mingo Central (Matewan, WV)
Next up, the Spartans play the Mingo Central Miners (Matewan, WV) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, February 3. Greenbrier East will attempt to upgrade on its 13-4 season record. The Miners come into the bout with a 10-7 record after their 83-48 non-league loss to North Marion (Farmington, WV).
