North Carolina High School Basketball - Providence Day beaten by Legacy Early College

February 2, 2024: Charlotte, NC 28270

In Friday's non-league match, the visiting Legacy Early College Lions basketball squad scored a nice 46-37 win over the Providence Day Chargers.

The Lions (12-7) will now prepare for their test against Gray Collegiate Academy (West Columbia, SC). The War Eagles go into the non-league test with a 16-9 record. In their last test, Gray Collegiate Academy went down by Rabun Gap-Nacoochee (Rabun Gap, GA), 66-30, in a non-league test.

The Chargers now own a 18-8 record. They play next when they host Cannon for a NCISAA Charlotte Independent test on Tuesday, February 6. Providence Day will encounter a Cougars squad coming off a 81-26 league win over Charlotte Christian (Charlotte, NC). The Cougars record now stands at 18-7.
