The Reed City Coyotes basketball team scored 61 points and held the visiting Tri County Area Vikings to 14 in the Coyotes league triumph on Friday.

The Coyotes now sport a 7-7 record. They put it on the line next when they host Clare for a non-league contest on Monday, February 5. Reed City will battle a Pioneers team coming off a 44-36 league win over Gladwin (Gladwin, MI). The Pioneers record now stands at 12-3.

The Vikings (1-12) will now prepare for their contest against Grant (Grant, MI). The Tigers enter the Central State contest with a 7-3 record.
