With the victory, Hancock betters its record to 14-4 on the campaign. The Bulldogs host Stevenson (Livonia, MI) to confront the Spartans in a non-league bout on Saturday, February 3. The Spartans go into the bout with a record of 16-9.
The Hawks now have a 7-8 record. They take the field next when they host Calumet for a non-league bout on Saturday, February 3. Forest Hills Eastern will confront a Copper Kings squad coming off a 5-1 non-league loss to Central (Bay City, MI). The Copper Kings record now stands at 5-12.
