Maryland High School Basketball - Eastern Tech crushes Overlea

Eastern Tech Mavericks (Baltimore, MD) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Overlea Falcons (Baltimore, MD), 53-23 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Eastern Tech upgrades its record to 13-4 on the season. The Mavericks host Catonsville (Baltimore, MD) to clash with the Comets in a non-league bout on Wednesday, February 7. The Comets go into the bout with a record of 3-4.

Next up, the Falcons clash with the Archbishop Curley Friars (Baltimore, MD) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, February 5. Overlea will attempt to improve on its 6-5 season record. The Friars come into the challenge with a 2-4 record after their 48-38 league loss to Severn School (Severna Park, MD).
