California High School Basketball - West Park holds off Ponderosa
February 2, 2024: Shingle Springs, CA 95682 Fans at Friday's league challenge between the West Park Panthers (Roseville, CA) and the host Ponderosa Bruins (Shingle Springs, CA), saw West Park's basketball squad hold off Ponderosa by a tally of 67-65.
With the victory, West Park improves its record to 18-7 on the campaign. The Panthers host Placer (Auburn, CA) to confront the Hillmen in a challenge on Wednesday, February 7. The Hillmen come into the challenge with a record of 10-13. Placer won 55-42 in their recent league challenge against Nevada Union (Grass Valley, CA)
Next up, the Bruins confront the Lincoln Fighting Zebras (Lincoln, CA) in a challenge, on Wednesday, February 7. Ponderosa will attempt to improve on its 12-8 season record. The Fighting Zebras come into the challenge with a 1-19 record after their 42-31 league loss to Oakmont (Roseville, CA).
