February 2, 2025: Pittsburgh, PA 15221 Woodland Hills Wolverines (Pittsburgh, PA) supporters left the game happy Sunday as they witnessed their basketball squad hold off the visiting Burrell Bucs (Lower Burrell, PA), 57-51 in a non-league match.
With the victory, Woodland Hills advances its record to 8-11 on the year. The Wolverines host Seneca Valley (Harmony, PA) to meet the Raiders in a WPIAL 6A 1 match on Tuesday, February 4. The Raiders enter the match with a record of 10-10. Seneca Valley lost 72-57 in their recent league match against Butler (Butler, PA)
The Bucs now own a 7-12 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Valley for a WPIAL 4A 1 match on Tuesday, February 4. Burrell will meet a Vikings squad coming off a 69-54 non-league loss to Carrick (Pittsburgh, PA). The Vikings record now stands at 3-13.
