New Jersey High School Basketball - Montgomery thwarts Notre Dame
February 2, 2025: Lawrenceville, NJ 08648 The crowd at Sunday's non-league challenge between the Montgomery Cougars (Skillman, NJ) and the host Notre Dame Irish (Lawrenceville, NJ), observed Montgomery's basketball team top Notre Dame by a tally of 62-44.
The Cougars now possess a 15-4 record. They play next when they host Pioneer Academy for a Freelance bout on Tuesday, February 4. Montgomery will play a Eagles team coming off a 83-52 non-league loss to Watchung Hills Regional (Warren, NJ). The Eagles record now stands at 8-7.
With the loss, Notre Dame falls to 11-6 on the campaign. The Irish travel to Camden Catholic (Cherry Hill, NJ) to play the Fighting Irish in a non-league bout on Monday, February 10. The Fighting Irish go into the bout with a record of 12-4.
