Virginia High School Basketball - Rock Church overwhelms Brunswick Academy
February 3, 2022: Lawrenceville, VA 23868 Fans at Thursday's non-league challenge between the Rock Church Lions (Franklin, VA) and the host Brunswick Academy Vikings (Lawrenceville, VA), saw Rock Church's basketball squad wallop Brunswick Academy by a tally of 63-32.
With the victory, Rock Church improves its record to 14-0 on the campaign. The Lions travel to Victory Christian (Elizabeth City, NC) to play the Eagles in a North Carolina Christian - North challenge on Tuesday, February 8. The Eagles come into the challenge with a record of 14-6. Victory Christian won 63-58 in their recent league challenge against New Life Academy (Elizabeth City, NC)
Next up, the Vikings play the Amelia Academy Patriots (Amelia Court House, VA) in a VISAA Division 3 challenge, on Friday, February 4. Brunswick Academy will attempt to improve on its 2-17 season record. The Patriots come into the challenge with a 0-7 record after their 93-49 league loss to Banner Christian (Richmond, VA).
