Medina/Pingree-Buchanan (Medina, ND) backers were pleased Thursday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the visiting South Border co-op [Wishek/Ashley] Mustangs (Wishek, ND), 57-30 in a league bout.

With the victory, Medina/Pingree-Buchanan upgrades its record to 11-2 on the campaign. The host Wilton/Wing (Wilton, ND) to play the Miners in a non-league bout on Friday, February 4. The Miners come into the bout with a record of 9-2. Wilton/Wing won 76-34 in their recent league bout against Center-Stanton (Center, ND)

Next up, the Mustangs play the Strasburg/Zeeland Clippers (Strasburg, ND) in a B Region 3 District 6 bout, on Tuesday, February 8. South Border co-op [Wishek/Ashley] will attempt to upgrade on its 5-9 season record.
