In Thursday's league match, the host Sherman Tide basketball team scored a good 81-72 triumph over the River View Raiders.

In their next game, the Tide meet the Montcalm Generals (Montcalm, WV) in a non-league match, on Monday, February 7. Sherman will attempt to better on its 9-3 season record. The Generals enter the match with a 2-9 record after their 40-34 non-league loss to Eastern Montgomery (Elliston, VA).
