Illinois High School Basketball - Westinghouse holds off Taft
February 3, 2022: Chicago, IL 60624 Fans at Thursday's non-league challenge between the Westinghouse Warriors (Chicago, IL) and the visiting Taft Eagles (Chicago, IL), saw Westinghouse's basketball squad hold off Taft by a tally of 53-52.
With the victory, Westinghouse improves its record to 13-10 on the campaign. The Warriors host Morgan Park (Chicago, IL) to confront the Mustangs in a non-league challenge on Friday, February 4. The Mustangs come into the challenge with a record of 10-9. Morgan Park won 67-55 in their recent non-league challenge against Bogan (Chicago, IL)
Next up, the Eagles confront the Glenbrook North Spartans (Northbrook, IL) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, February 5. Taft will attempt to improve on its 17-8 season record. The Spartans come into the challenge with a 18-6 record after their 64-57 league win over Maine South (Park Ridge, IL).
