Michigan High School Basketball - Calumet trounces Chassell
February 3, 2022: Calumet, MI 49913 The Calumet Copper Kings (Calumet, MI) basketball crushed the visiting Chassell Panthers (Chassell, MI), 93-11 in Thursday's non-league test.
The Copper Kings (14-1) will now prepare for their test against Negaunee (Negaunee, MI). The Miners go into the non-league test with a 10-4 record. In their last test, Negaunee walloped Gladstone (Gladstone, MI), 64-32, in a non-league test.
The Panthers now own a 2-9 record. They play next when they travel to Dollar Bay for a Copper Mountain test on Monday, February 7. Chassell will encounter a Bays squad coming off a 42-34 non-league loss to Jeffers (Painesdale, MI). The Bays record now stands at 3-9.
