Connecticut High School Basketball - Immaculate can't hold off Kolbe-Cathedral
February 3, 2022: Bridgeport, CT 06604 The Immaculate Mustangs basketball team (Danbury, CT), was nudged 49-43 in Thursday's league battle with the host Kolbe-Cathedral Cougars (Bridgeport, CT)
The Cougars now possess a 9-8 record. They put it on the line next when they host Weston for a Southwest - Patriot contest on Monday, February 7. Kolbe-Cathedral will meet a Trojans team coming off a 32-28 non-league loss to New Canaan (New Canaan, CT). The Trojans record now stands at 6-10.
The Mustangs (7-7) will now prepare for their contest against Shepaug Valley (Washington, CT). The Spartans enter the non-league contest with a 5-9 record. In their last contest, Shepaug Valley nudged Gilbert (Winsted, CT), 45-42, in a league contest.
