Louisiana High School Basketball - Acadiana can't hold off Lafayette
February 3, 2023: Lafayette, LA 70506 The Lafayette Lions basketball team scored 51 points and restricted the visiting Acadiana Rams to 48 in the Lions league victory on Friday.
The Lions now sport a 10-9 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Carencro for a 5A District 3 contest on Friday, February 10.
The Rams (3-19) will now prepare for their contest against Carencro (Lafayette, LA). The Bears come into the 5A District 3 contest with a 9-11 record. In their last contest, Carencro was nudged by Sulphur (Sulphur, LA), 52-48, in a league contest.
