February 3, 2023: Farmville, VA 23901 In Friday's league outing, the Prince Edward County Eagles (Farmville, VA) basketball squad beat the visiting Amelia County Raiders (Amelia Court House, VA), by a margin of 70-58.
The Eagles (5-11) will now prepare for their outing against Randolph-Henry (Charlotte Court House, VA). The Statesmen go into the James River outing with a 4-14 record. In their last outing, Randolph-Henry was topped by Nottoway (Nottoway, VA), 64-48, in a league outing.
The Raiders now own a 8-11 record. They play next when they travel to Lunenburg Central for a James River outing on Tuesday, February 7. Amelia County will clash with a Chargers squad coming off a 75-31 league loss to Buckingham (Buckingham, VA). The Chargers record now stands at 8-11.
