Virginia High School Basketball - Virginia Academy tipped by Benedictine

The Benedictine Cadets basketball team scored 75 points and held the host Virginia Academy Patriots to 72 in the Cadets non-league triumph on Friday.

The Cadets now sport a 12-12 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Woodberry Forest for a non-league contest on Wednesday, February 8. Benedictine will meet a Tigers team coming off a 67-66 non-league loss to Saint John Paul the Great Catholic (Dumfries, VA). The Tigers record now stands at 19-4.

The Patriots (13-11) will now prepare for their contest against Evergreen Christian (Leesburg, VA). The Eagles enter the Freelance contest with a 9-14 record.
