Camp Point Central Panthers (Camp Point, IL) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Rushville-Industry Rockets (Rushville, IL), 77-33 in a league bout.

With the win, Camp Point Central upgrades its record to 20-4 on the season. The Panthers host Griggsville-Perry (Griggsville, IL) to play the Tornadoes in a non-league bout on Saturday, February 4. The Tornadoes go into the bout with a record of 19-6. Griggsville-Perry lost 54-32 in their recent non-league bout against Hamilton/Warsaw (Hamilton, IL)

Next up, the Rockets play the West Prairie Cyclones (Sciota, IL) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, February 7. Rushville-Industry will attempt to upgrade on its 5-22 season record. The Cyclones go into the bout with a 1-25 record after their 61-29 non-league loss to Brimfield (Brimfield, IL).
