Michigan High School Basketball - Hamady holds off Carman-Ainsworth
February 3, 2023: Flint, MI 48532 Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the Hamady Hawks (Flint, MI) and the host Carman-Ainsworth Cavaliers (Flint, MI), saw Hamady's basketball squad hold off Carman-Ainsworth by a tally of 69-62.
With the victory, Hamady improves its record to 13-2 on the campaign. The Hawks host Genesee Christian (Burton, MI) to confront the Soldiers in a Genesee Area - Red challenge on Tuesday, February 7. The Soldiers come into the challenge with a record of 12-3. Genesee Christian lost 59-36 in their recent league challenge against Beecher (Flint, MI)
Next up, the Cavaliers confront the Lapeer Lightning (Lapeer, MI) in a Saginaw Valley challenge, on Tuesday, February 7. Carman-Ainsworth will attempt to improve on its 9-7 season record. The Lightning come into the challenge with a 1-13 record after their 54-38 non-league loss to Central (Bay City, MI).
