Washington High School Basketball - Wapato nudges Connell
February 3, 2023: Wapato, WA 98951 In Friday's non-league outing, the Wapato Wolves (Wapato, WA) basketball squad nipped the visiting Connell Eagles (Connell, WA), by a margin of 58-52.
The Wolves (9-10) will now prepare for their outing against Naches Valley (Naches, WA). The Rangers go into the 1A South Central - West outing with a 10-8 record. In their last outing, Naches Valley got by La Salle (Union Gap, WA), 72-66, in a league outing.
The Eagles now own a 9-12 record. They play next when they travel to Toppenish for a non-league outing on Tuesday, February 7. Connell will clash with a Wildcats squad coming off a 72-53 league loss to Zillah (Zillah, WA). The Wildcats record now stands at 16-4.
