Yarbrough Lobos (Goodwell, OK) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the visiting Deerfield Spartans (Deerfield, KS), 48-41 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Yarbrough upgrades its record to 6-4 on the campaign. The Lobos host Tyrone (Tyrone, OK) to play the Bobcats in a non-league bout on Monday, February 6. The Bobcats come into the bout with a record of 2-5.

Next up, the Spartans play the Pawnee Heights Tigers (Rozel, KS) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, February 7. Deerfield will attempt to upgrade on its 6-10 season record. The Tigers come into the bout with a 11-4 record after their 68-32 league loss to South Gray (Montezuma, KS).
