New York High School Basketball - Duanesburg holds off Notre Dame Bishop Gibbons
February 3, 2023: Schenectady, NY 12304 Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Duanesburg Eagles (Delanson, NY) and the host Notre Dame Bishop Gibbons Golden Knights (Schenectady, NY), saw Duanesburg's basketball squad hold off Notre Dame Bishop Gibbons by a tally of 52-45.
With the victory, Duanesburg improves its record to 17-0 on the campaign. The Eagles travel to Schoharie (Schoharie, NY) to confront the Indians in a non-league challenge on Saturday, February 4. The Indians come into the challenge with a record of 8-9. Schoharie won 48-47 in their recent non-league challenge against Fort Plain (Fort Plain, NY)
Next up, the Golden Knights confront the Schalmont Sabres (Schenectady, NY) in a non-league challenge, on Sunday, February 5. Notre Dame Bishop Gibbons will attempt to improve on its 12-5 season record. The Sabres come into the challenge with a 7-9 record after their 52-45 non-league win over Ravena-Coeymans-Selkirk (Ravena, NY).
