The Essex Trojans basketball team scored 64 points and held the host Rappahannock Raiders to 38 in the Trojans league triumph on Friday.

The Trojans now sport a 11-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Mathews for a non-league contest on Monday, February 6. Essex will meet a Blue Devils team coming off a 78-74 non-league win over Gloucester (Gloucester, VA). The Blue Devils record now stands at 9-11.
