February 3, 2023: Marissa, IL 62257 Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Marissa/Coulterville Meteors (Marissa, IL) and the visiting Lebanon Greyhounds (Lebanon, IL), saw Marissa/Coulterville's basketball squad overcome Lebanon by a tally of 41-27.
With the victory, Marissa/Coulterville improves its record to 16-5 on the campaign. The Meteors host Red Bud (Red Bud, IL) to confront the Musketeers in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, February 7. The Musketeers come into the challenge with a record of 19-8. Red Bud won 47-40 in their recent league challenge against Chester (Chester, IL)
Next up, the Greyhounds confront the Father McGivney Catholic Griffins (Glen Carbon, IL) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, February 4. Lebanon will attempt to improve on its 2-20 season record. The Griffins come into the challenge with a 11-13 record after their 48-36 league loss to Maryville Christian (Maryville, IL).
