Missouri High School Basketball - New Franklin fells Northeast
February 3, 2023: Cairo, MO 65239 New Franklin Bulldogs (New Franklin, MO) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Northeast Bearcats (Cairo, MO), 74-66 in a league bout.
With the win, New Franklin upgrades its record to 12-2 on the season. The Bulldogs travel to Pilot Grove (Pilot Grove, MO) to play the Tigers in a Central bout on Tuesday, February 14. The Tigers go into the bout with a record of 3-3. Pilot Grove won 62-39 in their recent non-league bout against Carrollton (Carrollton, MO)
Next up, the Bearcats play the Quincy Notre Dame Raiders (Quincy, IL) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, February 4. Northeast will attempt to upgrade on its 5-6 season record. The Raiders go into the bout with a 14-8 record after their 70-42 league win over Seymour (Payson, IL).
