The Brandon Valley Lynx (Brandon, SD) basketball nipped the visiting Rapid City Central Cobblers (Rapid City, SD), 45-38 in Friday's league test.

The Lynx (8-5) will now prepare for their test against Stevens (Rapid City, SD). The Raiders go into the AA test with a 11-3 record. In their last test, Stevens was tipped by O'Gorman (Sioux Falls, SD), 68-42, in a league test.

The Cobblers now own a 4-9 record. They play next when they travel to O'Gorman for a AA test on Saturday, February 4. Rapid City Central will encounter a Knights squad coming off a 68-42 league win over Stevens (Rapid City, SD). The Knights record now stands at 9-3.
