The Sonora Broncos basketball team (Sonora, TX), was routed 68-30 in Friday's league battle with the host Christoval Cougars (Christoval, TX)

The Cougars now sport a 19-12 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Sterling City for a 2A Region I District 7 battle on Tuesday, February 7. Christoval will battle a Eagles team coming off a 43-30 league loss to Ozona (Ozona, TX). The Eagles record now stands at 11-17.

The Broncos (16-15) will now prepare for their battle against Forsan (Forsan, TX). The Buffaloes come into the 2A Region I District 7 battle with a 8-16 record. In their last battle, Forsan was routed by Eldorado (Eldorado, TX), 47-39, in a league battle.
