In Friday's league match, the visiting Odessa Ducks basketball team scored a tight 38-36 triumph over the McKean Highlanders.

In their next game, the Ducks meet the Red Lion Christian Academy Lions (Bear, DE) in a non-league match, on Tuesday, February 7. Odessa will attempt to better on its 1-6 season record. The Lions enter the match with a 10-3 record after their 57-12 non-league win over First State Military Academy (Clayton, DE).

With the defeat, McKean moves to 4-10 on the year. The Highlanders travel to Howard (Wilmington, DE) to meet the Wildcats in a Blue Hen Flight - B match on Tuesday, February 7. The Wildcats enter the match with a record of 9-5. Howard won 50-30 in their recent non-league match against Mount Pleasant (Wilmington, DE)
