The Bel Air Highlanders basketball team scored 47 points and held the visiting Horizon Scorpions to 20 in the Highlanders league triumph on Friday.

The Highlanders now sport a 19-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Del Valle for a contest on Tuesday, February 7. Bel Air will meet a Conquistadores team coming off a 42-19 league win over Ysleta (El Paso, TX). The Conquistadores record now stands at 6-5.

The Scorpions (9-11) will now prepare for their contest against Parkland (El Paso, TX). The Matadors enter the contest with a 4-15 record.
