Colorado High School Basketball - Rye tops Ellicott
February 3, 2023: Rye, CO 81069 Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the Rye Thunderbolts (Rye, CO) and the visiting Ellicott Thunderhawks (Calhan, CO), saw Rye's basketball squad knock off Ellicott by a tally of 29-21.
With the victory, Rye improves its record to 1-1 on the campaign. The Thunderbolts host Peyton (Peyton, CO) to play the Panthers in a non-league challenge on Thursday, February 9. The Panthers come into the challenge with a record of 7-6.
Next up, the Thunderhawks play the St. Mary's Pirates (Colorado Springs, CO) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, February 11. Ellicott will attempt to improve on its 3-3 season record.
