The Alexander Central Cougars basketball team scored 54 points and restricted the visiting South Caldwell Spartans to 44 in the Cougars non-league victory on Friday.

The Cougars now sport a 15-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Hibriten for a non-league contest on Tuesday, February 7. Alexander Central will battle a Panthers team coming off a 55-32 league loss to Watauga (Boone, NC). The Panthers record now stands at 9-8.
