Alabama High School Soccer - Grissom nudges Thompson
February 3, 2023: Alabaster, AL 35007 Grissom Tigers (Huntsville, AL) supporters were pleased Friday as they observed their soccer team hold off the host Thompson Warriors (Alabaster, AL), 1-0 in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Tigers confront the Cullman Bearcats (Cullman, AL) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, February 6. Grissom will attempt to move on its 1-0 season record. The Bearcats enter the challenge with a 0-0 record after their 0-0 non-league Buckhorn (New Market, AL).
The Warriors now possess a 1-1 record. They take the field next when they host Mountain Brook for a non-league challenge on Tuesday, February 7. Thompson will confront a Spartans team coming off a 5-1 non-league win over Tanner (Tanner, AL). The Spartans record now stands at 1-0.
