February 3, 2023: Decatur, GA 30034 Southwest DeKalb Panthers (Decatur, GA) fans were pleased Friday as they observed their soccer team triumph over the visiting Redan Raiders (Stone Mountain, GA), 9-3 in a league challenge.
Next, the Panthers confront the Towers Titans (Decatur, GA) in a non-league challenge, on Wednesday, February 8. Southwest DeKalb will attempt to better on its 1-0 season record. The Titans enter the challenge with a 0-1 record after their 4-0 non-league loss to Rockdale County (Conyers, GA).
The Raiders now have a 0-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Clarkston for a non-league challenge on Tuesday, February 7. Redan will confront a Angoras team coming off a 1-0 non-league win over Newton (Covington, GA). The Angoras record now stands at 3-0.
