Wisconsin High School Basketball - Stoughton can't hold off Burlington
February 3, 2024: Burlington, WI 53105 The Burlington Demons basketball team scored 62 points and restricted the visiting Stoughton Vikings to 60 in the Demons non-league victory on Saturday.
The Demons now sport a 13-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Westosha Central for a Southern Lakes contest on Thursday, February 8. Burlington will battle a Falcons team coming off a 86-78 non-league loss to Milwaukee Academy of Science (Milwaukee, WI). The Falcons record now stands at 13-4.
The Vikings (15-3) will now prepare for their contest against Portage (Portage, WI). The Warriors come into the non-league contest with a 6-13 record. In their last contest, Portage was nudged by Wisconsin Dells (Wisconsin Dells, WI), 71-53, in a non-league contest.
